LHA is known for its strong outreach to the community, the inclusion of participants in the resolution of their problems, the provision of services and the commitment to the well-being of the most vulnerable in Orange County.

LHA provides programs in:

1. Health Promotion, Disease Prevention and Management (Diabetes, Heart Disease, Asthma and Cancer)

2. Emotional wellness (domestic violence, depression, stress management),

3. Housing Navigation

4. Medi-Cal enrollment and related services,

5. Community Engagement and Advocacy focusing on the built environment, housing and access to health care, and

6. Children and Youth Engagement (CYE).

The organization is a designated Family Resource Center by the OC Social Services Department. Every week LHA provides groceries to 500 families feeding approximately 2,500 individuals per month through its’ Food Distribution program. Moreover, LHA operates our own Corazones Verdes Park Community Center where families enjoy a variety of activities throughout the year.
