Asthma Remediation

What we do

Asthma affects many families in our community. Latino Health Access provides education, resources, and hands-on support to help individuals manage symptoms, reduce asthma attacks, and avoid urgent care visits. We work with families to create healthier home environments and improve quality of life.

What Is Asthma Remediation?

Asthma is often triggered by hidden conditions inside the home, such as mold, dust mites, pests, or poor ventilation. Our program identifies these triggers and provides the tools to eliminate them, significantly improving indoor air quality and asthma control.

Who Can Participate?

  • Eligibility: Individuals with uncontrolled asthma who are covered by Medi-Cal.

 

  • The Benefit: Eligible participants may qualify for up to $7,500 in lifetime funding for home remediation services and supplies
What We Provide​

  • Comprehensive Home Assessments: Expert identification of asthma triggers in your living space.

  • Essential Supplies: Eligible families may receive high-quality tools such as HEPA vacuums, air purifiers, dehumidifiers, and non-toxic cleaning kits.

  • Home Improvements: Access to specialized services including pest management, minor mold remediation, and ventilation repairs.
