Cancer Prevention and early Diagnosis

What we do

At Latino Health Access, our Cancer Prevention and Early Diagnosis program is led by trained and experienced Promotores de Salud, trusted community health workers who understand the cultural and social needs of the communities we serve. Through education, outreach, and personalized support, we help individuals and families take proactive steps toward cancer prevention and early diagnosis.

Our goal is to reduce barriers to care for Medi-Cal (CalOptima) members and their families by providing accessible, culturally relevant information and guidance. We work closely with the community to build confidence in navigating the healthcare system and making informed health decisions, while also engaging community members to share vital prevention information and take an active role in cancer prevention efforts.
