Founded in 1993, Latino Health Access was created in response to the serious health disparities in Orange County. We recognized that clinical care alone wasn't enough to address the needs of underserved communities.
Our model is simple yet revolutionary: people are the solution. We empower community members as **Promotores** to lead the change.
What is a Promotor?

A Promotor is a community member who is trained to provide health education and advocacy for their neighbors. They share the same language, culture, and life experiences as the people they serve.
